October 1, 2023

Today I played some epic video games. Me and Kyle got a new highscore in Radian, which is 3,983,564,209!!!! I even beat dads' high score!!! Anyway, I played the newly downloaded game called OVERCOOKED. It was a game where you have to chop foods, wrap sushi, and cook rice. (I had to use the fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire multiple times) Then, It was time to sleep!

Today I have a chess class! It is at 5:30. Somehow, my classmate never shows up to play against me. I don't know why. Even Mom is a little suspicious about the fact that they never show up. (⊙_⊙)

So, after I had my class, I went to do my other things, like Reading, Diary, Piano, and Outdoor Sports. Then, I settled in my couch and played video games.

Today I was super excited about the fact that dad just canceled the alarm! Me and Kyle can play as long as we want until 8:30 Monday-Friday, Saturday and Sunday we can play until 8:45. I myself like Bowser's Fury, because unlike Super Mario 3D World, There is no time limit. Also, you can get power-ups as much as you want (if you can find any) , and you have to be careful, since every several minutes there is a Bowser Storm, where Bowser blasts fire and has fireballs rain down.

Today I had a soccer match. It was against Dragons FC. Last time we won 5 - 4 or something like that. I had this feeling that we were no match, but no! In the first half, yes, they scored a goal. In the second half, they scored a goal, but we also did. So, the final score was 2 - 1. They won. But, the good news was that I got a goodie back with 

• Gummy bears with juice in the middle

• A juice pouch that is very very big

• Two Trader Joe chocolates

• A mango flavored lollipop

• and finally, an orange.

Today I played Badminton with grandma outside again. It was super duper fun! My grandma now got the feeling of Badminton back, so she is ready. Ping. Pang. Whap. Tink-Pang! She wins. And just like that, she wins most of the games. The only games she didn't win were the ones she 

• Missed or she didn't bother to get it

• When she couldn't reach the ball

• When I hit it exactly on the net line.

Today I went to the fall festival at my school! I first went the Mr. Rees's room, which was the haunted house. During the thing, a 7th grader grabbed my ankles, but I was too fast for them and stepped on they're hand. Ha ha ha. Then, I went to the gym. I played musical chairs with Dylan. Every time you get eliminated, you get a cupcake. After that, I did some circus games, like throw the ball in the hole,spin the wheel, and face painting. Some of my favorite activities were . . . because . . .

• Haunted House - Because it was super spooky. I got tackled to the ground a few times!

• Musical Chairs - Because there was a prize for getting eliminated and if you win (I won)

• Spin the wheel - Because you got to spin the wheel and get free prizes.

Today I participated in my second chess tournament at Lakeside. Lakeside is a beautiful middle school that has a lot of building which is made out of bricks. It had a soccer field which was surrounded by trees. Inside the cafeteria was the tournament area. There was a recreation room that had lots of couches and a table soccer board. When me, dad, and Kyle went in, we first saved our spot at what looked like a conference room. I went to check the pairings. In all five rounds of games, it was all against boys. I won 3 games, lost one, and one was a draw, so I got 3.5 points (3 points from the wins, 0.5 from the draw, 0 from the loss) . In the end, That helped me get on to the podium as ... 4-5 place. I thought I'd do better. At least I got a $35 gift card to buy stuff.  Kyle won 4 games, lost 1, and got 4.0 points. He won a $55 gift card. 

October 15, 2023

Today I went to a soccer game against ... I forgot. The game already started out bad, as a 2 - 0 lose for us (they used brute force to score goals) , and to be even worse, number 26 on their team tackled me to the ground. And it was all of a sudden, so I didn't have time to react.

I fell on my face with a nosebleed and a little headache.

After a few more goals scored by their team, It was the end of the first half. I recharged my batteries, and my face felt a little better after I drank some water. After that, I kept eye on number 26. But, it wasn't over! She tried to score and intentionally slid ar Archer, our goalie. It hit him in the kneecap, and number 26 got a yellow (that's your fault that 13+13=26!) . Free kick! Archer passed to me, who passed to Leo who hit it to Theo who passed back who scored! First goal!

I think this game was pretty hard: the others were faster, stronger, and tougher. All of us tried our best (I don't want to meet that number 26 AGAIN!)

Today I went to soccer practice. I was pretty excited when Coach Sam told us to get the goalposts ready, but I go even more excited when Coach Sam split us up into 2 groups: 1 for boys, 1 for girls. Girls had kickoff, but we were ready. 

Ball in! The girl's team are passing the ball slowly, which is easy to intercept. Soon, everybody on the team is going forward and pressing the girls. The defender is getting very squished, Theo finally gets the ball and shoots ... What? That was off-oh. Didn't see Elijah there. Nice goal!

There were also two moments where I scored...

• The ball was rolling in front of me and I took a shot. I guess the keeper was too forward, so she didn't save it.

• Where I was awarded a free kick. It was right in front of the goal, so I couldn't miss. I was right!

Today me and dad are allowed to stay up late because tomorrow was no school. Tomorrow was a third-grade social at Dave 'n Busters, which I'll explain about tomorrow. Me and dad played a game called Children of Morta, which is a multi-player action RPG game. I always want to SCREAM when I find a horde (15-20 monsters chasing me) of monsters just around the corner. I usually can just run around and shoot them from time to time. Then, I feel super relieved, but then a boss catches me around another corner, and ... yup. I die. 

If I could change some parts of the game to make it better, I would improve. . .

•  The graphics (everything is just so pixelated, and it wouldn't hurt to make it 3D).

• The animation (after the game is 3D, make the characters' mouths move when talking)

Today me and Kyle are going to the third-grade social at Dave 'n Busters. Dave 'n Busters is a gaming place that has 

• Skee-ball, Pac-man, basketball hoops, stuffy grabber (+other things) and bowling, the classics

• Some new games like Minecraft Legends, Mario Kart, and Motorcycle racing

• Food like Macaroni, Pizza, sandwiches, chicken burgers, and French fries

My friends where all there, like Harris, William, and Dylan. Harris and Dylan were playing a shooting game, William was trying to get a jackpot on the lucky strike. I personally got 1110 tickets on that thing-William got 1000 tickets first try. I don't know why his luck was so high! My favorite one was a rollercoaster one-There were 6 different rollercoaster rides. 2 and 6 were my favorite. 

Next time, I want to use my tickets to buy stuff like rubber band guns or lollipops. I think if you like games, you should come. But if you don't like games, you shouldn't come here at all.

Today I have a SOCCER GAME, AND I MY TEAM WON THE FIRST GAME! Our team wasn't doing so well in the league. We were losing every single game we played. But on this game, we won by 1 goal, and the score was... 5-4!! It was nice, and it was good to have us pumped up for awhile.  

I agree that we should play 2014s to have more experience against 2015s, but I don't like the idea of losing almost every game (＞︿＜) is fun, but I want to win first place in 2015s.

Today I am very tired because yesterday, I had to sleep at 9:30, and didn't sleep until 10:00! Me and dad literally stayed up gaming Children of Morta all the way from 8:15 to 9:30, which is ...  1-hour-15-mins!! I also stalked on my popcorn stash. Kyle also watched me and dad play. It was so fun. I feel like after the game, I can't stop thinking about

LUCY: Main attack: fireballs (sometimes insta-kill)

The book "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" is about Harry in his third year in Hogwarts, the magical school they go to learn Magic. He and his friends on on the chase somebody called "Sirius Black", godfather of Harry. But, obstacles along the way come from black hooded creatures that suck your soul out (dementors, and they guard Hogwarts, preventing anybody from getting in or out) , Professor Snape, who was always looking for Harry to get into trouble, and of course, Lord Voldemort himself. WILL Harry find Sirius before he gets caught? Will he be able to defeat Voldemort? And Will he ever make a full Patronus?

The book "Harry Potter and the goblet of fire" is about Harry in his fourth year in Hogwarts. In the middle of the school year, the goblet of fire (the thing that announces who is in the Triwizard tournament) announced his name. He had to go in the Triwizard tournament! Will Harry get past: 1 dragon(in the first task), 20ish merpeople and save Ron (in the black lake in the second task) , finish the Triwizard maze(a maze that moves around and has monsters in it) ,and escape Voldemort(the twizard cup was a portkey)? In Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone, Harry survived the Avada Kedavra Curse from Voldemort, protected by his mom's love. 11 years later, he is living at his uncle and aunt's house. Then, he gets a letter saying that he will be going to Hogwarts: a place where young wizards go to train Magic. He goes with Hagrid, the half-giant gamekeeper at Hogwarts. He first goes to diagon ally to go to Gringotts Bank. They go to get the money Harry's mom and dad got for him. Then, they use the money to buy books and cauldrons and wands and robes and owl and some sweets. 

On the Hogwarts express, Harry decides to sit with a orange haired boy called Ronald Weasley. They eat a ton of sweets and talk about this game called Quidditch.

At school, Harry is called into Gryffindor House. He with Ron and the girl called Hermione uncover secrets. Harry stops Professor Quirrell from getting the Sorcerer's stone. That way, Voldemort can get his full body back. When he gets his full body back, he will be dangerous again. Thankfully, Harry stops him.

This book is just so full of suspense that it kills me just to go, "What happens next?" repeated 100,000 times!

Today I had a soccer game against XL that we should've won to get 5th place in the league, tied with LXFC. Our team didn't focus well enough so that we could win. (it would be great to win, because it would only be our 2nd win) At the end of first half, the score was 2 - 0. Why wern't I there to block them? Simple. Dad drove me late to the game (I missed warm-ups), because I was busy learning 7th grade math formulas*. Even coach Sam said it was dad's fault!

Yesterday dad also FORCED me to do it! I mean, who FORCES their kid to do hard stuff!? DAD. IS. A. PHYSCO!!!!!!! w(ﾟДﾟ)w AHH!!!

DAD, DO NOT EVER FORCE PEOPLE TO DO THINGS, ESPECIALLY YOUR SON!       (╬▔皿▔)╯

THIS IS HOW TO MAKE A WINDPROOF ROOF AND THE STEPS TO MAKING IT... <( ‵□′)>

Problem:   The problem is that in a windstorm of any kind, the roof and house blows away. If the roof blows away, it could cause property damage to electronics, furniture, walls, and house appliances. Very important stuff! 

Create first design: My design was a house full of crumpled paper inside and taped roof on the outside.

Create second design: My design had two toothpicks sticking out of the sides to hold the roof and walls together, but it failed. 

Which design worked better and which was easier to build? WHY ?   Design A worked The best because the extra weight made it not blow  over easily. Design A was the easiest to build, because sticking toothpicks in the house was hard, and made my house crumpled.

What are some problems rain causes?  Heavy rain might rot the wood. A house is normally made out of wood, and water can make wood rot.

What would you do to make the house rainproof?  I would ask painters to apply a layer or two of plaster. I would test is my soaking wood that had applied a layer of plaster in water.

What constraints would you might have?  Some constraints might be: I might not have enough money, I might not have enough time, and I may not find painters to apply plaster onto my house.

TOMORROW IS HALLOWEEN!! I can't eat too much sugar, though. Maybe a licorice twist? A good old caramel candy? Some gummy worms? I can eat the licorice twist, and bring back all of them, but I can't eat the caramel or gummy worms. Maybe just a little bit, but not a lot. WHY?

I'll tell you. I'm on a diet. I want to get at least 2 packs that are visible. To get that, I go on a diet. Going on a diet means 

• Not eating sugary stuff (etc. Gummies, Chocolate, Candy)

• Do 1 min plank at bed daily+10 push-ups on tue and thur (five if super tired)

Today I went trick-or-treating with my good friends Ru-shan, Vincent, Graham, tuan-tuan, Summer, Lucas, and my brother (8 people counting me) . Our route was super long. At the first house, the people said take as much as you want, so I took 7 handfuls of it (the stuff I grabbed turned out to be good stuff. On the way, we met a person that was sick, I had to ask for water, and I had a ton of fun!*

I think other people should give out more candy so us kids have more fun!
