Opinion: I think this is a very action packed story, with happy and sad times.|dark, exciting, and very The part where Harry meets Voldemort was the most exciting part.          funny, and sometimes even           recommend this for 9 - 12 aged kids who have good eyesight. Today I presented my invention convention project! Now, instead of in front of my friends, in front of kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, and fifth graders! Phew! That's a ton of people! Good thing I had my own private space. I also got the PATENT! Man, I was so happy so have one. Not a lot of people have one! Still, 5 people out of 16 in my class got a Patent.

My family also came to watch me present! Dad was really happy that I got a Patent. He also was crazy about Holly when she came into my class. I also got to see some other's presentation. I liked Hamza's presentation. It was a car that could go forward! I hope I can see second grade's presentation next year!!!

Today I went swimming at the YMCA. Don't ask me what that stands for, because I honestly have no clue. ANYway, Dad, Kyle, and me started to do underwater "rock, paper, sissisor, who?". I won the most rounds.

Then, me and dad raced to see who could swim to the halfway line. Dad won most of the time, because he has more arm and leg power. He also has more stamina, which makes him faster than me by quite a bit!

Finally, Dad and me went to lap swim lane and swam to the halfway line (HWL) 3 or 4 times. Then, I took the paddleboard, and swam to the other side and back. Then, I took a flotation device, and put in between my legs. Then, I used my arms to paddle me to the other side and back. Phew! What a workout!

June 4, 2023

Today I had a tight schedule. I first went swimming at the YMCA again. I had a class first, and had to do a ton of relay races and swimming really quickly. Then, dad jumped into the water and I joined him. I liked swimming with dad!

So, we first swam to the HWL with the flotation device, arms stretch as far as you possibly can. That way, you can swim really efficiently and fast! Then, I learned to swim to the other side without grabbing things on the way. Then, I tried going back. SUCCESS!!

Then, I went home to eat and prepare for the "End of the Year Group Picnic, like last year. I first got a ice cream cone. Then, I gobbled it down and got another one. BURP! After that, I grabbed, like, sixteen bags of chips and gobbled 'em down.

BURRRRRP! TOOT!

Okay, not such a good idea.

Finally, me and grandpa drove to my soccer practice. This time, we were training with girls. We first did our warm-ups. Then, we did the [pass, receive with back foot] drill, [1v1] drill, and a [half bounce] drill. [^u^] I really like the little game. It's about rhythm, receiving with the back foot, and tempo/beat. Then, we did 3v3/2v2's and . . . We won twice and got doughnuts!

Today at Elite soccer practice, this utterly bad thing happened: in the middle of a fun game (at least it was supposed to) , when coach Sam told Theo to go to the spot he was pointing at, Theo walked there. Coach Sam was disappointed, so he made all of us run 2 laps around the field just because of Theo. After running, we did the game again, with more focus this time. I really focused on getting all the things Coach taught us into play. Eventually, my team won all the rounds that we could win. 

LESSON LEARNED:

One small player's behavior can affect a whole team's behavior. Keep that in mind!!!

Today I had another soccer practice. I came here late, because I had to go poop right before we were about to leave. Still, we did the warm-ups, technical and activation. Then, we had the main focus: Keeping possession. Well, everyone wants to be on the team that always has the ball (well, except when they have kickoff) . Then, we'll send Archer, our goalie, to score maybe a hat trick? So, the exercice was that we had a small grid. Inside was pink and blue team. Whoever connects the most passes in a row wins! We, obviously, won! YAY! [˚u˚]d

Today I wrote my first comment on the little chalkboard in the pantry. I wrote this little phrase that is two lines: June 8   Kyle having a shot on June 10, Saturday". I know this isn't two lines, but the chalkboard was so small, in came out 2 lines since I didn't have any space. 

One little question: why a chalkboard and not a whiteboard? I mean, you could like old-fashioned stuff, but you'd have to wipe the chalkboard with the type of paper towel you use with wiping messes like mud and water with. I personally think markers are also easier to write with, so that's one thing. Also, with whiteboards, you can continue with an eraser as long as you want. [>-<]

Today me and Tyler thought of patenting a new type of food, called "The pasta, fruit, and baguette burrito". Well, you first get half a baguette, then use a fork to scoop out the inside. You'll need the inside later. Then, push in as much pasta as you can. Don't overfill it! Then, slice some of your favorite fruits in. It's almost done! Then, take the baguette inside and sprinkle it over the burrito. Then, your ready to eat!! 

This is very cheap. One box of fruits contains 24 fruits. We only need one fruit per serving, so we have 24 servings. A baguette costs $20, and there is also roughly 24 servings. One bag of pasta is $20, and has like 200 servings, so, we're good to go! 太好啦!!!

Today I had a piano class. It was the same, except mom also had to play, since we were practicing a 4-hand pieces, Sidewalk Café and Tarantella. They were very short compared to mom's old pieces, but longer than mine. Also, there are some upsides about 4-hand pieces. If you get something wrong, you only get 50% of the blame, since the person you're playing with also gets 50%, and that way you don't have to be so embarrassed. So, I really like 4-hands, except the fact that you have to time every single note with the person you're playing withs note.

Today I had soccer and swimming overlapped! My soccer meet was from 9:30-11:00, and my swimming was from 10:55-10:30! Here's what I planned: I leave 15 minutes before the end of my soccer meet, and rush to the swimming place, about 5-7 minutes late. This is a very tight schedule, and you have to choose a side, and give up the other side. I would have stayed at the meet, because I wanted to do some more 2v1's to test my defending and attacking skills.

ALL ABOUT COACH SAM: Coach Sam is a very, very funny guy. One time he assisted me to do a backflip! He also tickles my teammates, such as Leo, Peter, and Theo. He can also be pretty strict. Since we're the best team in the age group, he expects us to work hard. If we don't, he punishes us. One time he told Theo to go to the spot he was pointing at, and Theo walked there. Then, he made all of us run laps as a team. Lesson learned: Always set your expectations really high. 

This is not the first time I met him, actually! I met him when we first moved here, about when I was 4. I was still in Lil' Kickers, back then! I think compared to other coaches, he is one of the funniest ones and pretty strict among them. I seriously think he should be our coach, since the Elite team is the best in the age group, we need our expectations higher than everybody else. I feel like Coach Kenean made the right choice to hire him to train the B15 Elite. [oºuºo]

Today our class started to make a "Stepping Stone", which is kinda like a rock you step on, but we won't step on it. We first decided on a word of the year for our class. We settled on leaders, so we would put the words "Leaders" on the front. We were then split into three different groups: Putting on the tiles, Mixing the cement, and painting the letters after the cement is dry.

Today I will talk about my friend, Theo. He is funny, is always smiling, and good at dribbling. He is blond-haired, fast, and a little shorter than me. He sometimes doesn't work hard enough, and got us all into trouble, like the time he was sloppy and Coach made all of us run. Still, he learned his lesson: one person can affect a whole team. I met him when I was at my first soccer practice in B15 Navy. I saw him as this: He was better than me. Now I think differently. I think: Both of us our at the same level. It depends on whether we work hard or not.

Today I will tell you what would I invent if I could invent anything? Well, a ton of you guys over there would say teleportation machine, and I would tell you why NOT. Well, if you step through a teleportation machine and tell you where you want to go, in doesn't make sense if you said, "I want to go to costco," and they put you on the roof of costco. It also doesn't make sense to teleport you to a place with no teleportation machine. Then, you'd have to build teleportation machines everywhere. That would cost a lot of metal, and then you'd have no metal for building tanks, guns, and ships for war preparation. If you did want to force the people to mine harder, they'd die of working to hard, and our country only has this many miners.

Today I had FIELD DAY OF 2023! This is the biggest event in the whole school! The activities here were:

I ate three snow cones, and got 2nd place in the 30-meter dash. I also scored 67 points in the soccer bullseye shooting. Whoo! I think this is an awesome day!

MOVING UP CEREMONY IS TODAY! ºuº June 16, 2023

Today is the moving-up ceremony! This is the time we get our certificates that say "xxx has completed xxx grade/kindergarten". Yeah. We also sing some songs. This year our school sang <<With a little help from my friends>> and the CHA school song. After that, we give everyone in kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade a certificate of finishing whatever grade they are in, and then Mrs. Whitehead sang "We are family". Everyone danced. Then, it was over!

Today I read the first few pages of "Hard Drive". It's about . . .

11 year old Bill Gates going to a feast in Seattle, in the Space Needle. He was invited here by his teacher, who challenged the class to memorize a very long passage with little or no rhyme. While all the other 31 people who memorized it stuttered over a few words. Bill recited the passage PERFECTLY! 

If bloodlines were related to Bill's success, then it would explain. Bill's great-grandfather set out to find a fortune behind bank windows, and succeeded in becoming rich.

Today is Dad's (and Kyle's) birthday! Me and Kyle's first gift was handed in a day early, which was the card. Our second gift was today, which was a drawing of a lego robot and a tank. We had Kyle's birthday party first, which was at Arena Sports. I was chased by all of the kids, and I did NOT like it at all! After we bounced around in the bouncy houses, we went to eat. I ate 4 pizzas, 1 cup of Fanta, 2 cups of lemonade, and a little bit of cake. For dad, we ate a delicious dinner with apple juice, and after, we ate cake! It was actually not bad, but I don't take risks now. After my little slice, I refused to take any more cake.

Today at my soccer practice, everybody was talking about crushing the Crossfire Premier A team, which is Joshua's (he's also on our Titans team) team. So, he'll have to choose a team to play as. This is just like the story mom told me . . .

Well, I used to train with Kevin at Coach Tian's practices. He was also in Titans Elite A team, like me. One time, his Crossfire team played against his Titans team. He was forced to pick a team. He chose Crossfire, and his coach was very upset. Kevin was also the captain of the Titans Elite, and his Titans coach made him return the captain's armband. Sad.

So, I REALLY hope that Joshua will play for our team, although I highly doubt it, since he probably likes his Crossfire team better I hope NOT!

TODAY MY DAD FINALLY DOWNLOADED macOS HIGH SIERRA! I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE HOW FAST IT IS! Okay now, I just watched this little thing about what is new on my mac, like at 6:55. So, seems like not a ton of advertisements are coming–well, after I see a certain ad, and I shut it down, it won't appear again. That is good, because whenever I watch Drift Masters on Red Bull TV, there is always an ad that stops me from watching anything. I just tried Red Bull, and BAM! No ads!

Today I decided what type of computer I want: a iPad 11'' Pro. It's really fast, has the type of keyboard I like, and is also a touchscreen. Best of all, I can take the screen off, and BAM BOOM! It's an iPad! It also can download the cool games that me and Kyle like best: Asphalt 9 Legends and Fruit Ninja! It's black, the keys are cool, slick, and NOT rough like the iPad 15'' Pro and the iPad 13'' Pro. Those keys are rough and fuzzy. They're also white. I prefer black keys. like this computer. Still, I've got a long way to go, since I only have done 41 lessons, while my goal is 100 to get one.

Today I read a TON of Hard Drive. Here's what I read: 

Bill Gates Graduated Lakeside and entered Harvard University. He mostly sleeped, gambled (played poker) , and read magazines about different types of computer, such as PDP-10, PDP-11, Intel 8080 chip, 8086 chip, and 8088 chip. After Bill skipped out of Harvard and founded Microsoft with Paul Allen. Then, they first made their minicomputer using a 8080 chip, making a BASIC. But, they weren't satisfied, so they bought a 8086 chip, now improved a LOT, from the memory space to the . . . I don't know! SO many things! They also competed with MITS, which had a 8080 BASIC, Apple II, which had its own chip, the 6502, and Radio Shack, which also had a 8086.

Today I have my soccer game against Crossfire A team. Not B, not C, not D, but A. I remember that all the player at Coach Tian's team were from Crossfire SELECT or PREMIER. Mom also told me that Coach Tian's team won against 2013 Titans FC Navy, and they were playing a year-up, and they won 10 - 3.

WOW!

So, I don't know the results yet, but I hope they are, well, at LEAST a draw. I'll come back LATER!

GAME TIME! 2 HOURS LATER . . .

SO, change of plans. I thought we were going so lose, but, it was the opposite! Let's take a quick look . . .

Well, I see Jayden (we used to play as defenders for coach Geo's Navy) , and . . . WHAT A SURPRISE! JOSHUA! Well, well. What a surprise! I thought Joshua was going on OUR team! Well, it took my team some time to see how all the Crossfire kids played. Well, well. They apparently like to take     L.   O.   N.   G.   shots. I saw them shooting on their keeper. Well, I also saw that their goalie was pretty weak. So, Luke scored 1-2 and 4 goal, I scored the 3rd goal, and Theo scored the 5th goal to secure the win. SOOUUU!

Today. We. Just. Won. Our. 2nd. Game. LETS GO! We beat Seattle Celtics by a LOT. Well, this time, yeah, we were awarded a free kick, direct. I missed. Well, there was a wall in front of me, and a lot of pressure. I'm not sure if you ever got awarded a free kick, but, gosh, it's hard. I hit the ball to high. I would have got top corner, or at least a crossbar hit, but no, nothing. [TOO BAD!] Still, I assisted a goal. I booted the ball to the goalkeeper, and he kicked it. Then, Leo (not Theo) shot the ball in the goal, but Theo (not Leo) also scored his own goal, I think. Oh wait, That was yesterday! Still, we won 6-0! SOOUUU!

Today dad just made the biggest BLUNDER that was ever recorded in our family history. Well, I started out winning a knight, and in the endgame, I was losing time, so I called dad to help. Then, when I told dad to check (which was actually checkmate) , but he didn't! Then, we traded off some pawns, and he ended up losing against a little kid with a rating lower than him.*

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, THE KING OF EVERYBODY?!

Today we also won our 3rd game against Snowmish FC. YAY. I scored one goal, but dad isn't 100% satisfied with my performance. He says that when I get the ball, I should sprint forward as a defender and pass to someone. I was also striker. Dad says when I pressure the ball, I should get the ball and control the ball and score. I should also take shots from farther away. Grrrr. If he knew I can't shoot that far with power. I also had my piano 4 hands recital. When it was our turn, Mom made some small minor mistakes. After the performance, she insisted that I kept <<Sidewalk Café>> running after she made those mistakes. I understand. I also make mistakes like that. Poor mom. Still, now mom is happy and chatting with some other parents that came over to our house.

Today we lost against Eastside FC. First, lets see what team they are. . . A+ team!? You've gotta be kidding me! We are only the A team, and against a A+ team? No way are we winning! Well, it took a few moments for us to see what each player is like. 

FIRST HALF: Not that exciting. We got scored on 4 times in a row. Blech. I could focus more on taking space                         (dribbling into space) more aggressively. I found out a black kid always likes to pretend-foul,                             which is supposed to be yellow card.

SECOND HALF: We understood what every player was like. They all had very good dribbling skills. They also   were good at making runs. all of their passes were behind players, so I need to stick with a   certain player on their team, such as the striker of the winger.

Today we are having an early perfect day! We've never had a single day where we had an early perfect day, since we either get distracted by unimportant things or don't have good time management. Those are the main things we've always missed. BUT. Not now! Today, I accomplished this lengthy goal/WIG (wildly  important goal) once and forever! YAH! Now, me and Kyle can go disturb dad and go play a few hours early! Now, we will now, every day using this trick, to make every single day a perfect day! Now, the FUN begins!

Today our family is in a rented house in Vancouver. Well, seems like a pretty nice house. If I were to rate the house 1 - 10, I would give it a 10, because the house is clean, pretty large, has two TV's, has a nice yard, has very nice kitchen and bedroom, and has all the Roald Dahl books I've wanted since I finished the Ice Monster. YO! And, for a nice bonus, there are a TON of spices in the kitchen, which means yummier meals! Also, the TV can play really cool movies on Prime Video and Netflix! That is also a nice bonus!

Yesterday, when I checked my Nintendo eShop, I found out that if I read just ONE more book, I can buy Truck SIM! Dad seriously suggested it since it tested my skill and patience of driving and PARKING the Truck, too! Man, I really want it, but I have to finish another book very soon! The special offer only lasts, like a week. Still, I think I can buy it right now. Me and dad can combine our money earned from reading and buy the Truck SIM. Well, maybe I can save my money and wait until another game comes on a special offer, like Mario Wonder or Mario Party. Those games are top hits!

Today I just know that I will have a perfect day. It just can't can't happen! I know it sounds weird, but that's actually what and how I want to say stuff when I grow up to my kids: funny language that makes then laugh but teaches them something. You know how the true masters of things grew up in a harsh environment, right? Well, Lang Lang is one of the best piano players, and he had to practice 4 hours a day. Elon Musk was also probably raised this way, too. I want my kids to become one of those people, but grow up in a more nice and healthy environment. I mean, we live in the 2000s with no food shortage!
