Today I read a book called Sophie Mouse: journey to the crystal cave. Sophie Mouse was playing Hide - and - Seek in with her friends, Owen and Hattie, in Owen's backyard. Sophie was IT, and she found everyone very quickly. They all suggested play at Butterfly Brock, because it was too easy to be found. Owen was IT, and Sophie knew where to hide. She first hid in some Giant Mushrooms, but then moved to tangled tree roots, and then a thicket of brambleberry. She finally hid in a cave, and nobody found her! Sophie and her friends went home, and Sophie told her family about her adventures. The next morning, Sophie and Winston (her brother) Started to search for the cave. They found it, but inside they heard a loud SCREEEEEEEEEECH!!! They ran out of the cave immediately. The next day, Sophie, Hattie and Owen were going to explore that cave. Owen and Hattie had brought lanterns and rope. Not far from the entrance, there was fork. They tied Owen to one end of the rope, and Sophie held on to the other. When the rope was stuck, Sophie and Hattie ran to the other side, following the rope. They slide down a slide, and Sophie found Owen. There was tons of crystals, and a small bat, and he told them that his family was here. When Sophie got home, she painted a picture of the cave.

Today I read a chapter of "Sideways Stories from Wayside School". It is about Calvin, a boy, who is asked by Mrs. Jewels to take a note to Mrs. Zarves on the nineteenth floor. But the problem is that there is no nineteenth floor because the builder that built the school forgot to add the nineteenth floor. Calvin asked Louis, the yard teacher, what to do with the note, but Louis didn't know ether. Calvin walked up the thirty flights of stairs to Mrs. Jewels's class. Mrs. Jewels said that Calvin could have a tootsie roll pop. But really, Calvin said, it was nothing.

Lately, mommy is in Las Vegas doing a presentation called AWS Reinvent. The AWS Reinvent is something mysterious that I don't know. It is international, so everybody will be watching. This morning at about 10:00 she was supposed to arrive, but her flight was delayed because of snow. Now daddy told me that Mommy will arrive in the afternoon, and I am still waiting. On the phone, Mommy said that she brought goodies from Las Vegas, and I am not surprised. I am wishing time would go faster . . .

Today I won two games in a row from a torment! The first one was from CuteSneakyRabbit, rapid rating (1004) . I won because of timeout, and believe me, he would have won if it weren't for the timeout. The second game was from a person I forgot, rapid rating (754?) . I won because of "Checkmate#". But if he took my queen, I would lose for sure. It's just by luck that I won, because or else I would lose.

Today I played an epic game of soccer! In the first recess we were down 1-0. But then, I booted the ball into the net! This continued until . . . I accidentally slide-takled someone. Oww! And then was a penalty kick. I was goalie, and the shooter was someone I feared the most: DYLAN. He backed up, ready to kick. He then kicked into right central. I leaped that way, and I blocked it! What a game!

In the last 2 YEARS, we have been playing Stadia. But because they are losing money\don't have a lot of players, Google is shutting Stadia . . . forever. But on the plus+side, daddy got all the money back from what he spent on our 3 controllers and all the games we bought. Besides, we also can just update the game we want onto our PC, like Teraria, FIFA, Spirtfarer, Tokyo Olympic 2020, Doom, Cyberpunk, Tomb Raider, and Rayman Legends. Those are just some of the games! So, I'm sad that Stadia will shut down, but we still can play a majority of the games.

Today I will tell you what happened at school today. I did my DLR, finished reading, went to recess, did some research about why eggs are good for you. 1. Eggs give you eye health, 2. Eggs regulate your mood, 3. Eggs have Vitamin B in them, and 4. Eggs have weight-managing power. Those are only some of them I got! Then, it was recess and lunch time. After that, we had a math assignment, and then was computer science. After that, we went back to homeroom to have spanish. Then, it was snack time. I ate my goldfish, and then social studies. Then, it was pack-up time and dismissal.

Today I will tell you what happened after school. I ate a some Pringles, 5 apple slices, I did my homework, (it was mostly multiplication) I read a book about Pablo Piccaso, I did my [very interesting] chess class, I did my [very boring] Chinese class, I ate dinner (it was pizza, I think), I did homework (couldn't finish it), I took a bath, brushed my teeth, and finally went to bed.

Today I am thinking about one and only one thing: skiing.⛷Well, you'd probably ask why I am thinking that. I am thinking that because . . . mommy and daddy told me that we are going skiing TOMORROW!! I can't wait! But, there is one [small] problem. My gloves are missing! Well, we checked the whole house, and we didn't find anything, which means NO SKIING.😢But, thankfully, I remembered that I wore them to Lucas's house because it was to cold outside. And guess what? I found it!

Today I went skiing for the FIRST time in, like, ummm . . . 8 - 7 MONTHS! Whoa! Since Kyle was sick, me, daddy, and mommy went to SUMMIT WEST. We started on Little Thunder, a green slope. The first round was totally going bananas.🍌I slipped on my bum and I spun off control. On the second round, I didn't fall at all. This continued until mommy suggested go to Pacific Crest, a blue slope. On the first round, I fell once because of poor visibility. In continued like this until me and daddy raced. I was sure I was going to win, so I went extra fast. But, I slipped and fell 3 times, and I learned my lesson:"Don't push yourself. Take it easy."

Today I will tell you what is happening in OUR house: Everyone Is🤧!! SICK!! *well, it is flu season. The WORST one is daddy. He has had the flu for exactly ONE MONTH! THAT IS A LOT! Then mommy caught the flu too. Kyle also got the flu from mommy, and I got the flu from Kyle. Having the flu is VERY, VERY, VERY BAD. At school, you can't participate in your favorite sport, can't concentrate on your test, and might fall asleep in class while your teacher teaches something important. That is why we are all hoping to get better.

Today I will tell you what I am thankful for. 1. Transportation because if we didn't have it, we would have to walk everywhere. You could try to run, but then you'd just end up tired. 2. Food because if you didn't have it, you would die. And, I love candy and pizza and french fries and hotdogs and chocolate! 3. My family because mommy helps me do homework and daddy teaches me math tricks that he says, are really useful. 4. Toys because I love Stadia and Lego and my RC car, which goes superfast.

Today I finished my calendar! On January was a big snowman next to a Christmas tree. On February was a heart and a birthday cake. On March was a pot of gold and a rainbow coming out of it. On April was 2 Easter eggs and rain. On May was me playing soccer. On June was a whole page filled with what daddy likes. On July was lots of Fruit. On August was a calendar and a place where school starts. On September was a trophy, a 100 dollared bill, and a hardworking person. On October was a Jack-o-lantern with candy. On November was a big turkey. On December was a Christmas tree.

Today I went to the "Chestnut Hill Academy Annual Festival Of Peace And Light". Whew! Very long name. When we got there, I was seated next to Riley and Bailey. The first song was Funga Alafia. You're supposed to sing until Mr. Rees blows the whistle. Then finish wha t you're doing and stop. The next one was Sorida. I sang that 3 times, as I was supposed to. Then, it was "Beautiful Rainbow World". After that was "The Drydl Song", and after that was "Jambo Juana" or something. Then it was "De Colores" time. I think I did good, but daddy said no. Well, I was sad for awhile, and then back to doing stuff.

Today it was the day of the Piano Recital! I dressed up in a green sweater with khaki pants. When my family got there, outside was SO COLD! The church was warm and pretty, though. Our hall was big. It had a big stage, with a big, black triangle piano on the stage. The stage itself was long but not high. I sat next to the aisle, where I got a good view of the piano. There were 23 performers including toddlers, kids, teenagers, and adults, but one toddler was sick. Before I went onstage, I was so scared, but seeing toddlers preform made me feel confident instantly. When it was my turn to preform, I was gradually feeling more and more confident. I actually forgot a few things, but that is okay because I'm happy.

Today I watched the FIFA Qatar World Cup Finals, Argentina vs. France, in my house with daddy. Argentina has Messi, but France has Mbappe and Griezmann. (I missed the first half of the game) In the second half, France was losing 2 - 0. Then, Mbappe scored in a penalty kick! Later in the game, Mbappe scored another goal! Now, the game was tied 2 - 2. That means that there will be additional time. Argentina scored first, then came France. Now, the score is tied, 3 - 3. That means that there will be a penalty shootout. France scored, then Argentina, and then Argentina's goalie blocked France's shot! Then, Argentina scored another shot, and Argentina blocked again, and Argentina went to score all their shots, and France? Well, it was ether blocked or out. Eventually, Argentina went to win the World Cup.
Today's match is the best game I have seen in years, because this is the first time I watched games with two boys!

Today it is snow outside. HARD. This is exciting news, because maybe be able to go skiing!⛷⛷This is also good news because I can stay inside and do the things I need to do for it to be a perfect day! I need 4 points to get a perfect day since7 I'm sick. It's supposed to be 5 points, but as I said, I'm sick. Mommy also said that I have to write my Christmas🎄wishlist, because Christmas is coming up soon. I really hope that Christmas comes sooner. . . .I already read a book called "Who was Stephen Hawking?". Stephen Hawking is a amazing person because: 1. He is a physicist who discovered and proved that light can escape a black hole, 2. He was always determined to overcome ALS while working with his research, and 3. He graduated from Cambridge with a degree in physics while dealing with ALS. I think his biggest achievement is that he has won many awards.

Today it is mommy's . . . BIRTHDAY! Well, sorry for never telling you that, but, it's true.😏My mommy is supa dupa smart, but she gets stuck on a few problems once in a while. She also has a good job. It's at Amazon AWS. Don't ask me what AWS means, because I don't know. She likes to play chess with Kyle, although mommy loses every time. She also helps me and Kyle with homework when we don't understand something. Mommy is a very helpful person and a very hardworking person, and I hope she enjoys her birthday!

Today I read a book called "Ancient Warriors", about VIKINGS. In the Dark Ages, Viking troops were feared a lot. Vikings sailed everywhere to steal riches of towns for themselves. Viking Longships, which were fast and sleek. Some things they fought with are . . . A helmet, A round shield, A sword, A mail shirt, A two-handed Dane Axe with multiple axeheads, and A Longship. A Longship had a flat bottom so that going up rivers was super easy. Several Longships could be tied together in battle to provide a stable platform. Smart, huh?

Today I read a book called "GOAL!" I will tell you how soccer started. The Aztec and Mayan added rings to the ends, and in a person got the ball into one of those rings, they won. Spanish explorers were amazed by this game, so they demonstrated it to King Charles I. He was amazed by the ball, not the players, because the ball was rubber and it bounced. Another game that was popular was Foot-ball. I will tell you 3 games I like the best. 1.In the 1966 World Cup Final, England vs. West Germany, Geoff Hurst scored a hat trick to help England win the World Cup! 2.In the 1970 World Cup Final, Pelé scored two goals by header, which helped Brazil win! 3. In the 1982 World Cup Final, Italy vs West Germany, Italy scored 3 times which helped them win the World Cup!

Today I played chess with stupid Kyle. That is what he is right now. STUPID. STUPID. Well, it all started when Grandpa and Kyle played chess. Grandpa was losing, and I offered to help. Well, it started off okay. Kyle was up a queen, but I had two rooks. Then, I sacrificed my rook for a dangerous passed pawn. Then, I got Kyle in a skewer position, and I got his queen!
Well, I "GOT" it.
Then, when I said that I won, Kyle cried and hit me. I don't want to play with him again.

Today it is Christmas Day! I got lots and lots of cool presents, and I like them all! After we unwrapped all of the presents, we went to Sea-Tac Airport. It was sooo crowed! I went to a metal detector, a tram, and a long line. Then, we got on a . . . AIRPLANE! My seat was at 20-B. We also got biscuits and juice! After that very long flight, We got off. Then, we rented a car and went to a bunch of parks with daddy's High School classmate. Then, we ate lots of yummy foods and I accidentally burped.😯Lastly, we got this cool hotel room.

Today we arrived at Legoland®! I first checked out the prince\princess\king\jester statue. Then, I went to the Castle Hotel Thingamabob. I played with legos at the front desk, and I have to say, all of those legos were probably more than all of our legos at home! (I ACTUALLY mean it) Then, we went to the Lego Technic Coaster, where you ride a car. After that, we went to Miniland USA which shows parts of USA but tiny. Then we went to Kid Power Tower, where you pull on a rope until you get to the top of the tower, and then drop down. Then, we went to Driving School, where you just drive. Then, we went to a show\flying adventure called "Emmet's Flying Adventure", and lastly, we went to a ride called "Unikitty's Disco Drop". Phew! What a day!

Today's best ride\activity was . . . "The Dragon"! It was the best because . . . 1. We pasted lots of cool castle rooms, 2. The Dragon was SUPER-DUPER FAST!!! 3. There were a lot of swirly turns that made me DiZzY!
One of the other interesting rides included Splash Battle, where pirate ships have to fight off coastal guards. Kyle and I played the water cannons against the ships. They suffered terrible losses. To make it even worse, we had the guns that could shoot almost EVERYWHERE! Every ship that passed us got DOMINATED! The people who rode the ships got superduperultra WET!

Today I kicked Kyle on the head and he got mad and then daddy told me to come here to talk, and he told me to hit myself lots of times, and very HARD. Then, mommy gave me a very long and kinda boring lecture about what I did. Then, daddy told me to write that down on my diary so that everyone will know that. Well, next time to avoid this I will never do anything until somebody else does that same thing that I want to do.

Today we went to The Aquarium of the Pacific! My favorite activities were . . . TOUCHING SHARKS AND STINGRAYS! Both of those activities were in the Shark Lagoon. There were two types of stingrays. One type was bumpy and oval-shaped, the other type was slimy and diamond-shaped. I liked the slimy ones that always were swimming around, not like the bumpy one, always sleeping.
I also liked touching sharks because they were as cool as cucumbers. Most of them were sleeping, and so I could touch them with no problem at all. All those sharks had the same kind of touch; Bumpy and Rigid. But, still, they were pretty cool.

Today I went to the California Science Center to watch a cool 3D movie about astroids and see the big spaceplane called . . . The ENDEAVOR!! The movie's name was called "Astroid Hunters", and it's about protecting our planet from incoming astroids. We had to wear 3D glasses so that when we look at the screen, it's not blurry.

Today is the LAST DAY OF 2022. I did well in . . . Art (Painting, Drawing, etc.) , Math (Multiplication Division, Addition, Subtraction) , Soccer, (Shooting, Passing, Dribbling,) and Diary. I have not done some things well, such as . . . Caring for Kyle, Handwriting (especially a's) , Trying to be nice, and Language Arts. My goals for 2023 are such as . . . Get to king 100 in Chesskid, Keep writing my diary, Get my rating over 900 in Chesskid, and Try my best to get leader of the trimester.
